Continue practicing your math facts over the Summer with these fun game-based math activities:

  • Guestimate

  • Headin' Home

  • Salute

  • My personal favourite: CRIBBAGE!!

    • Cribbage takes a little bit of time to learn, but it is super fun and it uses your math skills ALL the time!

    • Here is a Simplified Cribbage Board that I made. I used it to teach the grade 2/3 students in my class. You can use this board if you want to try playing- it has less rules than the real version of Cribbage but follows the same idea!

    • Here are 3 videos explaining how to play Crib (you don't have to watch them all- pick the one that you like best):Video #1Video #2 & Video #3 Once you get the idea, try playing my simplified version and then move onto all the rules version when you are ready!
